David Tolan- Producer/ Engineer/ Musician/Founder
David is a music producer, recording engineer & session musician. He has many years of experience, working alongside many inspirational artists, to name a few: -The Charlatans. Tori Amos, Johnny Marr, Denise Johnson, Primal Scream, Tears for Fears, Neill Finn, John Paul Jones and Patti Smith.
He has had success in the UK national charts and in many UK and US alternative charts also. He has achieved platinum sales in the UK and was awarded a BPI Platinum disk in 2001.
David officially endorses Nugen Audio, SE Electronics & Soundtoys and is also a member of the Music Producers Guild.
Tom Twemlow- Musician/ Producer/ Engineer/Bookings Manager
Tom is a musician, producer, and engineer with over a decade of experience in the music industry. He is noted for having a relaxed creative approach and a discerning ear. He has worked with a diverse array of artists including ;- recording & playing guitar for the late Denise Johnson, producing Nixon Tate, The Honey Club & Phellotape as well as engineering & mixing The Irrepressibles and Seafever.
With a background as a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Tom understands the artist’s perspective. Whether he is tracking drums, mixing complex arrangements, or managing studio bookings, his goal is to translate an artist’s vision into a polished, professional reality. His work has garnered national attention, including features on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music, making him a trusted collaborator for both emerging local talent and established industry names.

Henric Mattsson- Musician/ Engineer/ Producer
Henric has forged a successful career as a sound engineer & music and multimedia producer, providing original scores for online slot machines, iPad applications and short films as well as producing and engineering local bands.
He has contributed his drumming skills to a number of bands in the UK, Sweden, Brazil and his native Finland. This has provided an opportunity for him to work with a broad range of musical styles from rock to folk.
Currently at the University of Salford, Henric manages four recording studios within the School of Computing, Science and Engineering. He is also an Avid Certified Instructor delivering Pro Tools 101 and 110 courses.
Tomos Huw Williams – Musician/Engineer/Producer
Tom is a music producer, sound engineer and session drummer. He has toured with many bands including The Irrepressibles and performs live with various artists & projects, alongside doing studio session work.
Since 2019, Tom has been engineering and producing at Hope Mill Recording Studios, working on countless studio projects. His credits include, but aren’t limited to, two albums and an EP for The Irrepressibles, as well as four albums for House of All, featuring former members of The Fall.
Jack Williams – Musician/Engineer
After completing his BSc at the University of Salford, Jack joined the team at Hope Mill Recording Studios. After spending some valuable time as an assistant Jack progressed onto becoming an engineer at the studio recording a variety of different clients.
Before joining the team Jack did a short summer internship at the legendary Rock Field Studios in Monmouth, Wales. He also plays guitar in his band – The Be Positives, so has good links to the Manchester music scene.
